About This Course

Ready to become a sustainability champion? At Starbucks, we’re setting our sights on ambitious, global goals for becoming resource positive — and we need your help. Get to know what sustainability really means and how to make it part of your everyday life. Start by learning more about global environmental challenges and how people and organizations around the world are overcoming them. Gain insight into how Starbucks is working every day to advance sustainable practices globally, not just in our stores, but with partnerships touching every part of the business. Finally, get ideas for making changes in your own life that you can share with your friends, family and community to make an even bigger impact. We hope you will leave this course ready to practice sustainability on the job, in your home and in your neighborhood — and wear your Greener Apron with pride!

This course will take you approximately 3-5 hours to complete.

Learners who complete this course will earn a digital certificate of completion and a digital badge.

Starbucks Coffee Company Sustainability Team

The Starbucks Sustainability team is a group of individuals with backgrounds in business, supply chain, operations, and public policy, all of whom have a passion for sustainability. The Sustainability team supports Starbucks global efforts in greener stores and operations, power, food and beverage, and packaging, as well as the Greener Apron program. Located at the Starbucks Support Center (SSC) in Seattle, Washington, USA, the team works to advance Starbucks’ resource positive aspiration and program initiatives in all of the communities in which we operate. Their mission is to champion and empower sustainability in our business, products partners and communities. They are passionate about empowering partners to make sustainable choices in everyday life and it is because of the passion of our partners that the team has collaborated with ASU to create this program.

The Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service works with you to make measurable impacts on your sustainability goals and influence decision making through customized, actionable and scalable solutions for a stronger future.
